Starting this week, I’ll send recaps on Mondays instead of Saturdays.

Why? Saturdays are super busy here—family, home stuff, life chaos. You know how it goes. 😉

🚨 Quick Update: Basement Trouble

If I haven’t said it yet (or maybe I did?), two weeks ago I went with my husband on his work trip to Ohio. While we were gone, our area had flash flooding. 😩

And yes—our basement flooded. That’s where my studio is.

Some of you know I had some 8x10 rugs down there, plus lots of things sitting on the floor—current projects and stuff I planned to sell online. All got wet. 💦 except for two rugs.

The studio? Big mess.

Here’s two photos from the worst side—we’ll start fixing that side first. (More pics coming soon.)

👉 We are redoing the entire basement—just my husband and me, doing it all ourselves.

It’s going to take a few weeks, so please be patient with me 💗

BUT—there’s a silver lining!

✨ I’ll be coming back with NEW wall colors, a refreshed layout, and plans to make space for craft days & nights—coming (fingers crossed!) this fall, if nothing else comes up!

I’m excited—but it’s a lot of work.

That part of the basement holds about 80% of my supplies, so right now I can’t get to everything I need.

Also—it’s going to be VERY dusty in here. Ugh. 😷

Still, I’m counting my blessings. 🙏 It could’ve been a lot worse.
